Australia is Fiji’s largest trade partner, Fiji’s second-largest export market for goods, and its second-largest source country for imports. These are certainly impressive credentials for the bilateral trade relationship, but the FABC sees more. More possibilities to expand exports where opportunities have been identified. More investments to develop emerging markets in Business Process Outsourcing, building and construction, agribusiness, infrastructure, food and beverage, and ICT products and services. More relationships to reconnect and strengthen in the post-COVID world of business between Fiji and Australia.
Over the years, these Forums have repeatedly proven of significant value to Fiji and Australia at various stages of their evolving relationship. They have activated relationships and opened doors like trade restrictions being lifted (such as kava), and the FABC is incredibly proud of these achievements.
With the importance of the bilateral trade relationship, and with the FABC and AFBC being the pre-eminent business councils, this Joint Forum is always a major highlight of the private sector business calendar, and this year we endeavour to live up to the expectations of all our delegates and more.
The FABC Organizing Committee has been working tirelessly to create an exceptional array of speakers and presenters for the program, and we are coordinating a phenomenal event to remember. This is because our main objective has always been to not only ensure our delegates enjoy themselves at the Joint Forum, but more importantly, for them to take away as much knowledge as they could hope for, develop themselves professionally, build new business connections, transform their businesses, and take advantage of exciting opportunities.
See you at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa in September!
