The Fiji Australia Business Council and the Australia Fiji Business Council are pleased to announce their 2022 Joint Business Forum to be held at the Holiday Inn, Suva, Fiji, on 1 – 3 February 2022. The Forum Theme is “NEXT LEVEL BILATERAL TRADE”. You are invited to register and attend.
Fijian Prime Minister Hon. Frank Bainimarama and Australian Prime Minister Hon. Scott Morrison have both been invited to attend this Forum. The dates have been selected to time with their attendance at the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting. We are optimistic they will attend and speak to the Forum.
This Forum is the annual bilateral business meeting between Fijian and Australian business and government. Participants enjoy the unparalleled opportunity to network with senior Fijian and Australian-based policy makers and senior business people, and learn about business challenges and opportunities in bilateral trade from some excellent speakers.
The program includes speeches by senior members of both governments with presentations by experts on the Fijian business and economic environment. The planned outcomes of the Forum are for delegates to improve their understanding of the opportunities and challenges of business as well as enhance the bilateral business and investment relationship between both countries.
Fiji offers a range of new opportunities for Fijian and Australian businesses in the whole range of industries including sport, blue and green investments, ICT products and services including business process outsourcing, back office and remote services, agriculture, building and construction, capital works, and infrastructure including roads, bridges, power, water and sewerage, ports and airports, and food and beverage.
The provisional program and registration form are attached. We strongly recommend registering and making accommodation bookings urgently, before January if possible as LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE due to the Pacific Islands Forum coinciding with our event on the same week.
